Terms of service

These terms govern your use of BugSnitch. By using the product, you agree to them. The privacy policy explains data handling.

License and accounts

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use BugSnitch under the plan you select. You are responsible for your GitHub account and OAuth authorization, any license key or AI key you enter, connected services, submitted content, and compliance with the rules of repositories you access.

Free plan and paid plans

The free plan requires no card and allows 30 GitHub issues created through BugSnitch per UTC calendar month. The counter resets monthly. Issues you submit separately in GitHub are outside BugSnitch accounting.

Paid plans are offered through Polar and may include Personal, Pro, or Lifetime features as shown at checkout. A valid paid entitlement can unlock higher issue limits and other features stated for that plan. Personal and Pro subscriptions renew until canceled through the Polar customer portal; taxes, billing, invoices, and payment processing are handled by Polar. Prices, founding offers, availability, and included features may change for future purchases.

A Lifetime purchase covers the local capture, annotation, and GitHub issue workflow indefinitely and includes updates released during its first 12 months. It does not include future paid cloud services, managed AI costs, or indefinite updates unless the checkout page says otherwise. Optional update access may be offered separately. Bring-your-own AI providers remain subject to their own keys, costs, and policies.

Acceptable use

Do not abuse, disrupt, probe, resell, sublicense, or use BugSnitch or connected services to violate law, repository rules, or third-party rights. You retain rights to your submitted content and grant BugSnitch only the permission needed to process it for the requested capture, GitHub issue, triage, licensing, quota, or support workflow.

Availability and liability

The product and gateway are provided as available and may change. GitHub, Polar, AI providers, coding-agent apps, browser permissions, and repository policies are outside BugSnitch's control. To the extent permitted by law, BugSnitch is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss. Our total liability is limited to amounts you paid during the 12 months before the claim.
